What a send off.
First, just before I departed the Methodist Bone Marrow Transplant unit, Patient Services stopped by to say thank you for the blog chronology. They presented me a basket of chocolates, that includes chocolate beans, coins, a chocolate picture frame, chocolate cell phone and calculator. Second and even better than chocolate, Dr. Carrum came in with a big smile to say that tests showed my DNA is 100% donor. In other words the transplant is working. In marathon terms we are at mile 22 digging deep to finish. Onward..........SS
