Hello world - Last Saturday, for the first time since June 7, I set foot into the outside world. Never thought I would get so excited about wearing heels and hose. Minutes after the picture was taken I put on the outer space mask and we attended the wedding celebration of friends Helen and Roger. The event was a lovely seated luncheon. As other guests prepared to leave one table of eight remained seated and laughing. What fun.
On Sunday Plano, TX friends UT room mate Diane and husband John came by. John and Bob attended A&M and when Diane and I were not at UT we were at A&M also. We laughed about college days and now the joys of grown kids.
Monday Beaumont High school friends Patty, Jane and Nancy delivered lunch. Jane brought a picture of our 5th grade class. For some reason girls out numbered boys two to one, and we could not identify everyone.
By Tuesday I was happily exhausted. Still doing 5 hours a day of IVs with side effects. The good news is that the drugs are working against the CMV and hopefully can be decreased soon.
I am looking forward to experiencing the 37 yr old vigor of my anonymous bone marrow donor. Onward.....

Kaye and I just found out about this site. We were discussing you with Mark Rose at dinner on 12/18, and he had not heard of your health, so I'll do my best to get this info to him.
We just got back from southern Virginia, spending Christmas with Ginger and her family.
Your reports sound really good! Hope you and Bob and all the kids have a great New Year(s), and in spite of our total absence, know that you are all in our hearts.
