May 24, 2007: Thank you family and friends for your prayers, positive thoughts, clever e-mails, cards and phone calls, it means a lot.
Relapse! I am back at Methodist Hospital for chemotherapy which will lead to another bone marrow transplant this summer.
Bottom line, the transplanted marrow of youth and beauty did not triumph over age and wisdom - darn!! This go round I have suggested a male donor in hopes we can be more compatible.
Going home in a few days, please stay in touch, ONWARD.......

You RADIATE beauty, courage and much more strength than anyone I know. You are simply amazing and you are a true testimony to all of endurance and perseverance. Us petite women can truly pack a punch and thank God that you continue to 'punch' this one in between the eyes (as you say "the show must go on...").
We are praying BIG for you!!!
All our love, Jamie
Sorry to hear of the setback. I suspect retracing the chemo and transplant process is particularly trying for someone with your momentum, but I have every confidence that you'll wow us with the same grace and determination this time through.
Love and best thoughts, MAE
I will miss your smile and your laugh. Waco and our homeless will miss you . Thanks for all you did for our City and most needy residents. You were such a giving person and so Christlike. I will see you soon and will spend time with you and our dear Lord. In Christ- Jeff
